Thanks to Aberdeenshire Council Waste Team for supply of brand new litter / dog waste bin at the Forest View side of Forest Drive Park. They have also added new stickers to existing black waste bins – at entrance from Mill O Forest School and the recycle area at entrance to Car Park.
Hopefully this will help encourage some people to use the bins for dog waste rather than just leaving collected bags or even worse, loose dog waste amongst the bulbs, long grass and bushes.
As you can imagine, strimming, cutting and planting of new trees is not great when you are working in amongst dog waste. We now have 4 bins in the park so there is simply no excuse for it – bags are very cheap and bins placed at reasonable intervals.
